Well, the bustle is almost over, and you're probably thinking about settling in for those festive times at home with family and friends gathered close. Maggie, always fascinated with shiny objects, has suggested a new topic: a featured bead from the shop's eclectic collection is going to be spotlighted every month. [At first Maggie felt she should get a 'String of the Week", but after she realized all the posing and modeling involved, she decided she'd settle for a monthly feature.]

This month's feature is exquisite round lampwork focals from Grace Beads. They come in many colors, from sedate creams and black to outrageous red and purple. They're wonderful centerpieces for a necklace or bracelet, and they're perfect for combining with a bail to make a simple pendant worn on a chain- anything but Plain Jane!
